Our businesses include a Formulated Agrochemicals business verticals which comprises a Brand Formulation segment where we retail crop protection and crop care inputs in the domestic Indian market under the brand “Universal”. We also operate a Custom Formulation business where we undertake contract manufacturing for several large multinational customers as well as a Bulk Formulation business targeting the B2B segment of the market.
Under our Technical Grade Agrochemicals business vertical, we have launched a number of Technical Grade agrochemicals as well as key Intermediates targeting both export and domestic markets.
Brand Formulations
Universal's Formulations vertical includes a strong Brand business
It retails crop protection & crop care products in the domestic Indian market under the brand name of “Universal“. With more than 75 products* and years of market development, it has built a strong presence across multiple states. We conduct sales operations across most states in Eastern, Central & Southern India with 4 plants and 8 fulfilment centres that helps take products to farmers across nearly 300 districts which are covered by around 1,000 Distributors and nearly 16,000 Retailers.
Our front line sales team of experienced market executives remain actively engaged with the farmers through multiple outreach programs and promotional campaigns.
We are also engaged in Custom and Bulk Formulations for the B2B segment of the market.

Universal has custom formulations for several large multinationals since 2018 Universal manufactures many Pesticides,Herbicides and Fungicides molecules in multiple custom packing/ branding styles. We are marketed by its customers all across India. It is sourcing the material inputs, formulates and packs into containers/ pouches per customer designs. Finished Goods (FG) are supplied at customer warehouses across multiple states.
Bulk Formulation
We provide multiple Pesticides, Herbicides and Fungicides molecules in bulk formulation to many B2B customers. Universal has a compelling value proposition in this segment largely due to –

Universal has recently launched its Technical Grade Agrochemicals business vertical
Under this business segment, the company is manufacturing a number of TC Grade agrochemicals as well as key Intermediates targeting both export and domestic markets.
At its new plant at Nagpur, Maharashtra dedicated to Technical agrochemicals, it is focusing on integrating backward and captively manufacturing some of the Intermediates and other key inputs.
